The Dept. Political Science started its journey from the year 1945 with the opening of IA, Pass Course in 1947 and Honours in 1967. Since then the Dept has come a long way there by producing a large no. of students and scholars engaged in various sectors. It has been served by several bright teachers and scholars. Currently, three of the Faculty members are the Ex-students of the department.
