The Department of Physiology, Ramananda College started its humble beginning in the year1960. The Department in its initial days offered only a single academic programme, a two-year Undergraduate General Degree course in Human Physiology. In the year 1988, the three-year Honours Degree Course in Human Physiology was introduced in the Department, the first of its kind in this entire district.
