The Department of Geography, Ramananda College was established in the year of 1995. The Department has produced many brilliant students in the last two decades. In its glorious journey, the department has well equipped with good laboratories and departmental library with internet facilities available to the teachers and students.
At present, there are two full-time teachers and one part-time teacher who cover the entire syllabus. There are two laboratory attendants who help the students to conduct practical class. The syllabus is divided into several modules. The modern teaching aids are used by the teachers in the classes. The department also arranges class tests for Honours students. Moreover, the department organizes seminars on the topic covering the syllabus as well on the related topics.
